The Tyngsborough Police Department is a progressive, community oriented police department that provides both traditional and non-traditional police service to a town of approximately 12,000 residents located in the Merrimack Valley.
The Department promotes a philosophy that encourages the citizens of Tyngsborough to take an active role in establishing and promoting a safe community. By building police community partnerships, the police department becomes an integral part of the town.
These partnerships help prioritize and identify problems then address these issues. As a community oriented police department, we are always looking for ways to interact with our community. Our Mission
Our primary mission is to enforce the laws of society, maintain order within the community, protect life and property, and to assist the public at large in a manner consistent with the rights and dignity of all persons as provided for by the law under the Constitution of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts .
