No, unfortunately our kiosk is not designed to accept any sharps or needles. This includes epi-pens, syringes, etc.

The FDA recommends a two-step process for properly disposing of used needles and other sharps:

  1. Place all needles and other sharps in a sharps disposal container immediately after they have been used. This will reduce the risk of needle sticks, cuts, and punctures from loose sharps. Sharps disposal containers should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
  2. Dispose of used sharps disposal containers according to your community guidelines. Sharps disposal guidelines and programs vary depending on where you live. Check with your local trash removal services, or the Tyngsborough Board of Health (978-649-2300 x 118) to see which of the following disposal methods are available in your area: Drop Box or Supervised Collection Sites, Household Hazardous Waste Collection Sites, Mail-Back Programs, or Residential Special Waste Pick-Up Services.
